I'm a semi-famous Canadian TV journalist approaching my fifties prime, fascinated by international politics, the ancient struggle for democracy, our failing effort to keep Planet Earth human-friendly, Barack Obama (although, sadly, I'm losing faith), Szechuan food and Italian shoes. I abhor violence and despise abuse of power.

My main interest  is sensuality — the ultimate, magnificent blending of the physical, emotional and spiritual. So in my memoir, as I strive to understand myself, I explore my own sensuality with all the honesty I can muster.

I hope you'll understand that I don't use my real name. I have a morals clause in my contract and have become fond of having a job, a roof over my head and the occasional chardonnay.
